We have an excellent opportunity for a Windows Systems Specialist within our Asset Management Group, responsible for providing an end to end service for our clients, application developers and the business.

The Windows Systems Integration Specialist will be responsible for technical management and coordination of issues and projects involving window servers, databases and presentation layer technologies. You will also work closely with other team members to provide understanding across all infrastructure components of the system.

The specialist should be a recognized expert in Windows Server operating systems, with associated hardware, and an interest in improving their understanding of other technical areas; strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

Building a relationship with the Engineering team, requirements gathering and performing testing of any new builds is crucial. The candidate will also be expected to become the knowledge expert for VMware and gain a knowledge of databases. You will also have a responsibility for 3rd level support for the Windows Servers and associated components (IIS, Citrix etc).

The role is an excellent opportunity to work alongside business and development managers across the Firm, to learn the portfolio of business applications at Credit Suisse and to play a key part in the design and rollout of future infrastructure solutions.

Skills

In order to be successful in this role you will require experience in Windows Server administration, support or engineering with a thorough knowledge of Windows 2000 - 2003.

You will also require strong knowledge of SAN technologies; storage replication; capacity planning and utilisation techniques; good TCP/IP networking skills; good Knowledge of Web Servers (IIS).
