International Investment Bank is looking for a tax specialist to join their Structuring team in London. This role has become available as a result of the continued expansion and growth within the EMEA region and the increased complexity of transaction structures.
The successful candidate will bring existing tax experience and will help to structure new business initiatives and provide innovative financing/hedging solutions
Main duties include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with transactions early in the deal process, identifying key issues and developing the credit response with a tax focus from start to finish • Present complex structures and make recommendations to senior risk management staff, in a concise and clear manner • Attend vendor presentations and due diligence meetings • Ensure that appropriate guidelines, procedures and approvals are in place for new transactions, through proactive liaison with appropriate business units and other relevant areas
As a candidate:
• You’ll have exposure to complex transactions and in particular tax due diligence. • You’ll possess strong commercial orientation and be a lateral thinker with proven ability to undertake comprehensive industry research and analysis • Client focused with persuasive communication skills both written and verbal and a confidence in being challenged • A collegial team member who builds strong, open dialogue based relationships with clients and colleagues
