My Client, a top tier US Investment Bank is looking for high quality business analysts with experience of working on IB Operations change projects to join their business optimisation function.
Business optimisation supports the ops change programme by helping the various groups prioritise initiatives & implement them in a controlled manner, with no negative impact on day-to-day operations. Its objective is to deliver approved projects on time & to budget, achieving the stated business benefits.
The programme includes a mix of discretionary & mandated initiatives across Derivatives & Securities. The discretionary projects aim to improve the client experience, reduce operating costs, improve processing efficiency & support the delivery of new products / processes. The mandatory initiatives are driven by legal, regulatory, compliance or market changes eg, MiFID, DTCC Trade Warehouse, etc.
BA responsibilities include:
•Analyse business requirements, collect data and determine feasibility of project request. •Produce or assist in the production of business cases, including financial modelling and forecasting. Obtain approval to proceed. •Business Process Modelling, production use cases and detailed requirements. •Assisting with the co-ordination acceptance testing in line with testing strategy; produce or review test cases and scripts. •Analyse requirements for data migration and implementation. •Conduct post-implementation reviews in order to draw out lessons learnt. •Participate in the creation and improvement of Business Optimisation processes and quality standards for projects
In order to be considered you must have; Excellent BA skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management skills. Experience of the full project lifecycle Experience of working on IB Operations projects and knowledge of the full trade-lifecycle.
